From Yahoo!: "Pop princess Britney Spears (news) has admitted that she had sex with former boyfriend Justin Timberlake (news) despite once vowing to remain a virgin until she wed.

In the upcoming issue of W magazine, Spears details her relationship with Timberlake, the most-watched music industry romance since Courtney Love (news) and Kurt Cobain.


"The most painful thing I have ever experienced was that breakup," Spears told W. "We were together so long and I had this vision. You think you're going to spend the rest of your life together. Where I come from, the woman is the homemaker, and that's how I was brought up -- you cook for your kids."


The 21-year-old Spears, whose stratospheric rise from Mouseketeer to pop megastar mirrored Timberlake's success, revealed that she had sex with the 'N Sync (news - web sites) boy band singer because she believed they would marry someday.


"I've only slept with one person my whole life," she said. "It was two years into my relationship with Justin, and I thought he was the one. But I was wrong!"


Spears, now cutting an image-shifting, comeback album after an 18-month hiatus, said she now realizes "I need my single time" to learn to "be self loving."


"I know it sounds cliche and cheesy, but I really believe that if it's meant to be, it's meant to be," she said.


For now, Spears said, she's hunting far afield for a new beau -- especially in Australia and Spain where men are less "fuddy duddy."


As for reports linking Spears to Irish heart throb Colin Farrell (news), she said: "Yes I kissed him. Of course I did! He's the cutest, hottest thing in the world -- wooh! He's such a bad boy. But it was nothing serious."


The kiss left her with a "craving" for more of the same. "I haven't had a boy in a really long time ... just a kiss, man. Just a kiss would be nice."

It's something we all knew but she straight out said it. And she seems to like them bad boys, lil freak that she is.

I HIGHLY doubt that. I think that they LABELED Spears this "innocent little princess" and just put this "i'm the girl next door" type of image. WHY? Because if you look at her fan base, most of the girls are about the age of 15 and under. I mean yeah I liked her when she first came out, but I'm so over her music. So since the majority of her fans are younger girls, they want to put that image on her so she can be a good example. Yet when she dresses "sexy" or "slutty" whichever you would call it, she gets criticized for it in a negative way. HELLO the girl is 21 now, she herself has probably grown out of that tinny bob stage. I mean times are changing and of course she has to change and to me, she's grown a lot into a woman now and she's not this little teenage girl anymore that people keep seeing her as. Anyhow, I'm putting too much thought into it, ok bye.

umm...does it really matter to us how many people shes slept with?? I mean, so wat if shes slept with more than ONE...does dat make her evil or sumthin? Shes a human too...she can have sex with whomever she wants...she'll still be Britney Spears. If shes innocent or not...so wat?!

And...I think dat shes SOOOO beautiful and she has da purdiest legs ever!! OMG! She dresses cute, sings good, and she definitely puts on good shows! I like her!

About her and Justin...i believe they will be together in the end...they were meant for each other.

I could care less who she bangs it's just the fact that her "innocent" image was so played up. I don't think any less of her, in fact I give her props for banging Justin, homeboy look DEEE-LIIIIICCCC-IOUSSSS!!!

you can blame it on her,the people who screwed up her image was j records.I personally know someone who is related to her and i have seen home videos of her and she is way differnt than the way she is on interviews and tv.

I can't stand her

I dont really like her. I like a COUPLE of her songs but thats it. And if ANYONE was gullible enough to actually believe that she had remained a virgin while she was with Justin was just plain STOOPID!!!! IMHO, I think that shes had sex with others also, not just Justin. Its not just her label that we can blame, we can also blame her because even though shes already admitted to having sex, she still tries to portray herself as still being innocent. HELLO Britney! Its 2003 sweetie, ya know modern times? Its not the 50's.

The thing that gets under my skin about her is that I think she likes the attention of being a bad girl. I mean she lies about everything. Sure it is her private life, but you know, if you keep being asked the same question over and over again and you keep lying, they will keep asking. Misewell just come out with it to keep the spotlight off of ya. I mean now that her and Justin have done and it has been said, not many people care. It wasn't made into a big deal like she thought. She lied about her tattoo on her back. You know, who cares if ya got a tattoo. we aren't going to criticize ya if you come out and say it. It is a tattoo.

I also believe she has had sex with more than Justin. I actually believe Fred Durst. He isn't exactly the best person to trust but I saw him on Howard Stern. He was actually very careful about what he said. He wasn't his usual self bragging about what he got. He said that he cared about her in a way that he hadn't ever really felt and he didn't feel like bringing her down. It wouldn't be right for him. He did say that they did it but that was all he was going to say because he didn't want to go into details and if she wanted to deny it, then he could deny it for her but it hurt that she did that.
