Actually, right before she died Selena did make that crossover album and I think that she would of gotten famous in the english world and if that made more money for her, she probably would of done more of it because anyone in their right mind is gonna go where the money is and evetually she would probably would of left the tejano industry. She was the first tejano artist to do a crossover that was a huge success. |

Yeah, it seems to be stronger in the valley as usual. When I've gone down there in the past I always hear songs I've never heard before. What sucks is that even though Houston has an AM Tejano station, all they really play is the old schoolers. I love them but I'd like to hear the new guys as well.

LMFAO! awwwwwwww...I remember those songs. I dnt member how old I ws whn they came out but I think I ws around 7. I live in Dallas, & KICK is the big Tejano station here. Thts wut I listen 2 if I'm in need 4 spanish music. & yes ur rite IF H-town would play more K1, they would prob b there more often. Dallas ppl have LOTZ of luv 4 thm. But if ya'll want 2 listen 2 Tejano, Y dont ya'll log on 2 Kick's site? Well 2 me...Tejano music is barely alive. Even though I hear it alot, its not the same. They all want 2 have tht tejano-cumbia style. & basicly if u start w/tejano thts the only music they should stick wit. Not everybody can do tejano-cumbia. But thts my opinion. Bye.
