Hey y'all remember the post about beauty? Here it is again. biggrin.gif Not that we need it right? We bootyful anyway!

Actually I just wanted to know if there's a way to make your hair look/become thicker because my hair looks crappy right now. All the dying has fried it and I don't want to chop it off because I'm letting it grow to my butt again. Help! dry.gif

Or if you have any questions, ask away too....

ok..
biosilk is badass but expensive..but it always leaves your hair in good condition.

proactiv works!!! so does taebo...so if ya wanna get skinny or get clear skin try that.

kuka for your hair i'd put mayonnaise in it...it works..for me it did..i had a lot of split ends and when i did it u could barely tell i had them cuz it smoothed and moisturized it to the core...but wash it out REAL good... when i did it i had shiny hair the next day but my hair still smelled like mayo @ skoo so that wasnt a good thing.

ok...do any of you girls know how to lighen skin?...that cocoa butter stuff DOES NOT WORK!!!... like ive tried it on my knees and elbows cuz theyr a bit darker than the rest of my skin tone and no matter what i try it aint working...my momma told me to use lemon wif baking soda but im all like WTF?!...

Yeah I've heard the mayonnaise thing worked but I'm too chicken to try it. I've heard eating lots of protein works for your hair too.

And Yesi, do you mean cream like Nair? Man if you have sensitive skin, DO NOT use it all the time. Use it when you're like out of time because man...that stuff will literally burn your skin. Two of my homegirls have little chemical burns on their legs from Nair. Have you seen that new mousse they have for legs now? You put it on in the shower and scrub away the hair. I wonder how that works...but yeah shaving sucks.

And iluv_dru try what your momma said...they seem to know better. I remember my grandma scrubbing our elbows and knees with a damn estropajo and it hurt like a mugggggggggg...I've actually gone to the dermatologist for that stuff and they gave me some cream that actually cleared it up though. So maybe if you go see the doctor they'll give you something that will help your skin.

You can get your hair straightened permanently but I don't know if you want to do it that badly. Also my friend uses an actual clothes iron to straighten her hair and it's faster and leaves it really straight.

ok u guys...i went to this salon in monterrey, mex. like a year ago..and its a high class salon dont get me wrong..theyr in mexico city and in nyc and paris i think...well i was all hyped up cuz i was going to go get my hair straightened permanently...cuz supposedly they had this method that wouldnt burn your hair and it was all natural..so i went and payed like 100...i had short hair and they did their thing and 2 days later i was back to my normal hair..and in houston so there was no point in trying to get my money back...now i stick to blowdrying...i wanted to use a plancha but that normally works out better whenever there is another person helping you out...nobody helps me out and i normally end up wif burn scars that eventually fade away so i just left that alone...and the mayonnaise whenever i do it i leave it in for bout 20 to 30 minutes and i use regular...i buy the cheap parade kind actually...its basically the same thing and i mean its going to go down the drain so id go with that.

LA SAD:: i use an iron[[clothes..]] it really does work, and it leaves it smoother that the other kind of iron....

KUKA:: i was reading cosmo[[aug issue]] yesterday and i thought of you....

how can i make my thin hair thicker??

use thickening lotion[[try redken lotion]]or crimp your hairs underlayer at the roots. the texturs from crimping adds body but its hidden by your top layer

what can i do to fix my fried hair??

use protien-rich deep conditioning treatment 2x a weeks-the protien is what really repairs your hair--not the oils which jst coat w/ shine and make it look healthier temp. check lables for ingrediants like wheat germ protien, hydrolyzed wheat protien , soy protien, or silk amino acids. after you apply it wrap you damp hair in a warm towel for 15 mins before rinsing

la sad::

how cani stop frizz??

dont even try to wear it down-use gel to slick it back into a neat bun, still seeing frizzies sticking up? jst tie a bandana over the top. youll look so cute noone will guess that your hiding frizz...

THE MAYONAISSE SH!T DIDN'T WORK FOR ME!! UMM IF YOU FEEL YOUR HAIR IS STRESSED USE NEUTROGENA RESIDUE SOMETHING...LMAO.. I FORGOT...U SUPPOSED TO USE IT ONCE A WEEK. IT MAKES IT SMOOTH AND IT FEELS CLEAN...I LOVE IT. IF I REMEMBER I'LL COME BACK WITH THE NAME.

FOR YOUR FEET...CUZ U HAVE TO KEEP THEM BOOTYFUL!! LOL. ALWAYS SCRUB YOUR FEET ONCE A WEEK WITH A ROCK THAT'S WHAT WE USE OR THERE ARE SOME BODY WASHES WITH LIKE ROCKS IN IT AND YOU PUT IT ON YOUR BODY OR FEET AND IT EXFOLIATES IT...THAT'S SOME GOOD STUFF. THEN YOUR BOYFRIEND WILL BE LIKE WOW! YOUR SKIN IS SOOO SMOOTH!!

FOR CURLY HAIR...I RECOMMEND USING MOUSSE AND THEN PUTTING IT UP FOR LIKE 20 MINUTES THEN PUT IT DOWN AND STYLE. ALSO IN MEXICO THERE IS THIS CREMA CALLED SEDAL AND IT HELPS YOUR LOX LOOK EXCELLENT!

FOR WANNA BE STR8 GIRLS LIKE ME SOMETIMES I USE THE CHI...NOT EVERYDAY! USE IT ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK. ALSO I DON'T DO THIS BUT I SHOULD...WASH YOUR HAIR EVERYOTHER DAY UNLESS U AN OILY PERSON CUZ IT GIVES YOUR HAIR NUTRIENTS AND PREVENTS DRY ENDS...THAT'S ALL FOR NOW...

OOOOOO ONE MORE THING..I HOPE I DON'T OFFEND ANYONE BUT WHITE EYELINER IS SOOOOO OUT... I DON'T LIKE THAT ON ANY GIRL...NO MATTER IF YOU ARE FAMOUS OR NOT..IT'S NOT CUTE ANYMORE...SORRY ph34r.gif
