Scandinavian Metal

Being as hateful toward American metal as I am, I'd like to discover some more Scandinavian metal. Do you know of any good Death or Black Metal bands? A few of my favorites are:

Nu-metal? How the hell are Meshuggah even remotely nu metal?

Lame guitars; simple, un-changing vocals... things like that.

That doesn't have anything to do with nu metal. Look at Linkin Park - an absolute shit nu metal band; they don't have simple non changing vocals, and neither do most nu metal bands.
Hell, if that makes a band nu metal, then a lot of death metal bands would now be nu metal.
I'd like to see a nu metal band try and play a Meshuggah song - they'd have to pass through puberty first and perhaps grow some balls.

Also check two UK bands, Mithras (death metal) and Thus Defiled (black metal). I recently heard them and was really impressed. Also another band, that isn't from Europe but very brutal, is Watchmaker.
Hell, while you're at it, check out Dawn of Azazel and Forced to Submit (two NZ metal bands).

I loooove Scandinavian music , not only metal

Machine Men is a cool Finn band

Although, I AM Norwegian, so I know a bit about Scandinavian Metal. Gorgoroth (black metal) and Stonegard (thrash metal/heavy metal) is 2 good bands.
