Grandparents!, Tell us why you love them so much :)

What is there NOT to love about grandparents? I love mine to death, although I haven't seen them for a long time due to the distance...Dad is gonna pay for me to visit his parents soon though, yay!

I spoke to grandma (dads mum) on the phone yesterday, it was so nice to talk to her and i miss her so much! I couldn't talk to grandpa tho cos he's had throat issues and is having radiation treatment on it.

My mum's parents are both alive too. I call them Papi and Lisi. They live in canberra, and i last saw them in april. They are both like highly academic people...whilst my dad's side of the family are blue collar workers...so i have the best of both worlds

WELL grandparents are alwayz to be loved
they support us in every thing of life and we have to come up on thier expectations

I have never talked to my grandparents on my fathers side.. so I can't say anything about.. except I already don't like them. My grandfather on my mother's side died already... never really talked to him. And my mother's mom.. well.. let's just say... I HATE HER with everything I've got in me.

I never met my grandparents from my mom's side, they passed away when i was a baby...But if they lived i know i'd love them to death!!, My grandparents from my dad's side, I dont like my grandma that much, because she's TOO nosey!, my grandpa i love him alot!, he's cool!!....

My grandparents, I never met my grandpa from my dads side b/c he passed away when my dad was a teenager. My dads mom I met her when I was 5 b/c she lived in Mexico, but she passed away when I was 7 yrs old. My moms parents I never met her real dad b/c my grandparents got divorced when my mom was little and my grandma moved away. My grandma remarried when my mom was a teenager and so we called him Grandpa, he was a really nice and caring person, but he passed away when I was 9 yrs old. My moms mom, she moved here w/us when my bro was born. I love my grandma but she has her favorite. She has 3 grandkids, 2 boys and me and I happen to be the middle one. But the oldest is her favorite, her excuse is that me and my bro have both of our parents there for us and that my cousin never did b/c his parents divorced when he was young and my aunt always worked so my grandma had to practically raise him!!!

Grandparents Day in the U.S. is like September 12th or something like that.

Thats why itz kOoL to be American!!^^^...I love my granny and abuelo...okay my grandpa is the coolest person! Hes alwayz cursing and saying stuff that ticks my grandma off but makes the whole family laugh! And my granda well......shes kind of the mean one! when it comes to kids lol!...but yeah i luv em to death

mom's side... (grandma is dead, grandpa is an a-hole half the time..) so that's kinda off

i do love my great grandma though... she's like 92 and she totally rocks... i tell her about my guy issues till this day and she tells me stuff from back in her day... a month ago she gave me all this old jewelry and old coins from back in her day... <3 her.
