I have a serious problem....bitching on rap forums....why, cos i hate them.
Lets face it, 75% of the people here are liccle boys who sit at home in their adidas and chains and walk around like they own the place....do they ever step back look in the mirror and realise wat pricks they look? No, while ur reading this stop here, find the nearest mirror and look at yourself.............are you one of those people.
Why is it that people who like rock and the rock culture accept each other for what they are, but people in the rap culture feel like they have to prove themselves and the only way they rate each other is on how hard they are.
Of course there are exceptions, some enjoy the music and respect others music, but they are in the minority.

Do YOU realize that whatever an artist does is strictly for entertainment value and enterainment value only? Who cares if you do or dont like rap, the majority of people out there DO like rap and all you are trying to do is preach to those who do like it and trying to give them reasons to not like it anymore. Get over it!

I am fine with people who like rap...the complex rhyming patterns and shit are all great... i am just saying to many people are little whit boys who, by listening to rap turn into these little gangster wankers..
If you love rap music that cool, in my point of view, stand up for what u believe in, but eminem just thinks hes 10 men...the truth is thats probably just how many men he bedded.

Its not the artists faults that those idiots go out and act all gangsterish, thats THEIR perrogative. THEY are the ones taking the music seriously. Its not like the artist is actually there at their homes holding a gun to their head telling them to "act like a gangster" Dont blame the artist or the music, blame the idiot taking both seriously.

firstly thankyou very much for your replies i appreciate them, seconldy, someone said (who also said some good stuff so not havin a go) let them be themselves, like i sed previously i wud, but last week my friend got beaten up, like quite badly just cos he dresses differently from chains and sports shit, do none of you think that the srtists producing this music should maybe step back and realise this is their fault, or is it??? hmmm, alll i know is that if they didnt go on about beating people and guns and shit these dik heds would nt walk around like they do....

Youre still trying to blame the artist for the fan. Ill say it again, the artist IS NOT there holding this fool's hand telling him to beat up people because they dress a certain way. As a matter of fact, I dont think Ive ever heard a rap/hip-hop song where the artist said they beat up someone for dressing differently. Most artists sing/rap about stuff thats gone on in their life or someone elses life. Maybe your friend said something to provoke the person/people who beat him up, it probably had nothing to do with his appearance. Theres probably a lot of reasons why your friend got beat up and youre just probably trying to make an excuse for it by blaming rap/hip-hop artists. Also, if you say that any of the reasons I named were NOT the reason for the fight...were you there when it happened? Then again, youll probably say yes just to try to justify it to yourself. Quit telling yourself that its the musics fault when you know well its not.

I guess i better come clean, HI, my name is Tom Stephenson. I live in england. Near Derby if any of your know that. At school, we had to write an essay no some part of either, perjudice, racism, or steriotyping. I decided i would visit several forums some rap some rock and start an argument. I wanted to see the views and arguments of both sides and how people reacted to my hostility.
INteresting, i would like to say some of the comments made on this subject were very interesting and well written, thankyou for helping me on my essay and i hope theres no hard feelings..
