has anyone heard about the Donnie Darko movie being re-released back into theaters?
in my opinion, its effing great because even though the movie was "poor" when released, the storyline and everything was amazing..
just wanted to know...

A director's cut was released in New York, LA, and some other selected cities, but nothing nationwide.

I wouldn't say that it's a poor movie, I have it on DVD, but releasing it back into theatres, that's just crazy!

i really liked this movie. My only problem was that the ending was kinda lame

The only rereleasing I know of was the special edition dvd. Nothing about rereleasing in theaters.

the Directors Cut was re-released in to a select amount of theaters, i have yet to see it.

I love Donnie Darko, it was really confusing the first time I watched it but when I re-watched it I got it. It is really funny too even though the whole movie itself isn't funny.
