Stairway To Heaven, covers of this song

being a big zeppelin fan and classic rock fan, i need some assistance in finding cover versions of the song stairway to heaven. if anyone knows where i can find these songs , or which bands have done verions of it, that would be greatly appriciated. thanks

I bought sheet music to the song at Ken Stanton music store.

i did a kazaa search for it once and found a whole bunch of fakes (unintentionally), some were pretty well covered

yeah, i finally got some good covers of stairway. lots of them are fake but if anyone else is interested, here are some real covers of stairway to heaven:
Foo Fighters - this one is pretty funny because they sing the solo and screw up the notes and lyrics numerous times.
Frank Zappa - this one is a sort of jazz/blues version with a sax solo.
Jimmy page, Jeff beck and eric clapton did a version. need i say more?
Zeppelin and Pink Floyd did a version and its pretty awesome.
finally Rolf Harris did a ...umm...interesting version of it as well

so give them a try;)

i also found a verzion of some doors cover band, a gregorian choir , some really shitty verzion by heart, iron maiden , keller williams on piano and the leninggrad cowboys (who the hell are they)... the pink floyd verzion i dono about, i think its just a different verzion by ledzep themself

and offcourse there's my own verzion, which i always play when we sit around some campfire (bonfire) and are real drunk and such, and i sing some dutch lullaby lyrics over it in all kinds of wayz (french/german/belgium accent, sheep like (the lullaby is about a sheep), bob marley style and grunt style, lol) which is really hilarious every funkin time

I still say a music store is the best way to go.

At least at the one in my area, they were selling a few different versions of it... and you could play it yourself! :D

Otherwise, I would just Google it.

google sucks for that kinda stuff. its just trial and error with dl stuff off the internet to get versions i suppose.
