I love REM.

Their lyrics aren't the best, but I wouldn't say they were that bad... but their stage presence...

hey, i listen to alot of those bands myself and it all depends on what you really wanna listen to...try some pink floyd forsure...try the songs time, hey you, wish you were here and another brick in the wall by him. also check out guns and roses, this band might be a "far out there" thought from me, but i enjoy them. also give clapton a try. he's got some gold music
