Drugs help me get through the mornings and keep my children in line. And drugs were here even since the biblical days. Do you think Moses really split the water? Hell no, everyone was tripping out on acid.

I read in an article (which i'm not sure of it's reliability) that john lennon and paul mccartney were high when they wrote heaps of the beatles best songs.
It's kinda sad really...but if it works for them.... |

Bah, that is crap... not all good artists do drugs/alcohol... most are cleaner than you would imagine. Many people do drugs now-a-days, but it isn't bad/good musicians in particular.
Victoria: yes, Metallica went downhill (a lot!) lately... but all bands do. (Maybe not all... but a good percent.) Dimmu Borgir is a bit more metal, but I will use them as an example: They were one of my favorite bands for a long time because of the beautiful guitar/orchestral sounds/deep lyrics. (Like ...And Justice For All) Personally though, I think there is little correlation between good music and drugs. |
