The didn't cover "Paint it Black" when I saw them last Sunday, but someone near me in the audience commented that they were playing a The Who song. I'm not sure if it really was a The Who song, as I don't listen to them. The show though, was absolutely amazing... It featured a solo by the drummer for about 20 mintes, which took the breath from everyone around me... it was incredible. (Everyone looked like this
They also ended the concert with fireworks, celebrating their 30th aniversary. |

Hey thanks, yea Neil Pert kick butt. I see them pretty much every time they come through my area. I'm just more of an old school Rush fan. For me, I rather hear them play there own stuff (the older the better) but I will probably go. Hopefully they will mix it up a bit at least

No problem... they did play a lot of their older music (such as Tom Sawyer). Because they don't use an opening band, they played a lot of music. They are so talented it's incredible. :O They only took one intermission for about 20 minutes, so they played about 3 hours straight... mad props to them for that.
