Why the punk forums?

Because these genres are RARELY posted about so they were put into one forum.

Everyone has a different opinion on what rock is... so this is kind of speculated on how you feel about the bands ...

Now take a minute and think about what you are suggesting. If they moved threads of Blink 182 to the pop forum, what would the B. Spears fans think? Right. Exactly what you are thinking, "What's this doing here?" Anyways, the point I'm trying to get across is, whatever the band is considered (as far as radio stations and record labels call them) is where they should go. Just because you think they are fag bands does not mean they are not worthy to be called rock. ;)

Yeah its definatly pretty confusing but people should really stop worrying about what genre bands are you cant hate or like a whole genre... i dont think

I think that some people identify themselves by the music that they like...and therefore are offended if a band they are not a fan of ends up been discussed in an area that they consider their thing...do you know what i mean?

when i think of rock, i definately dont think of blink, hooba watever and all those bands. they definately dont cut it when compared to metallica, zeppelin and real "rock" bands.
