Australian Bands, Who is hot and who is not?

I'm not to this forum...a bit about myself...i'm a 19 year old chicky in Brisbane Australia. I'm a rock music fan. That's it!!


So, for those aussies out there, which australian bands do you like? And for those who are not aussies, which do you hear about overseas?

I think that Jet are the best new band around right now. I mean to say, having a debut single hitting number one on the JJJ hottest 100 is an AMAZING accomplishment!

Poslive - i checked out that single you suggested of garland, and i really enjoyed it! I'll make sure I keep and eye and ear out on their upcoming album. I like the guitar work in the verses It's really....well the only word i can think of is "nice", but i find that word not too descriptive and for that i apologise!
