Well this is the first non remix album that Prodigy have done since 1997 and I have to say, it's really good, tracks like Spitfire, Girls and Hotride really stand out to me. I have been listening to a promo copy for the last week in my car and while it's been a long time since I've sat down and listened to an old Prodigy album, I don't think they've lost anything in the 7 years that they've been dorment.

I have the promo cd as well. It's amazing, even though it's a lot different than Prodigy's other albums. Pheonix is a horrible song though....it's the first bad Prodigy song...almost brings a tear to my eye.

Hey guys,
Yes the prodigy are defenitly are back. I actually like phoenix but don't really follow the promo version of "you will be under my wheels". The album will be a shocker for those who only listened to tracks of the Fat Of The Land album such as Firestarter and Breathe.

It's about the beats and you can really dance to this album.

To hear a stream of Girls and Memphis Bells (instrumental)[/URL]. The XL recordings page now has the video of Girls.

The album release is late august or september 14 (depending where u are).
The single of girls follows it and I believe they are re-releasing some of there past albums.... but that's in Japan ;)

I'm not embarassed at all for being a prodigy fan, they are keeping it real.

Main Manic Man, nice signature
i'm looking forward to the next chemical brother releaese. the prodigy sample My Mercury Mouth on their new ablum but it's not a chem tune im familuar with.

i thought it was pretty cool how both acts were playing the chem bro remix of voodoo people (rock the house in) live.

239.gif Am I the only one that doesnt like the new album? Spitfire and Girls are good songs but the rest of them arent really special or different which is a shame. I liked the Prodigy of Fat of the Land, and so does everyone else ive spoken to that knows them. I personally think they never should have changed.
