Best band ever.

Well, you won't be hearing any more from me. I've had enough of this place. I've posted here for years.

If youve posted here for years why do you only have 1 post under your name with a July 12, 2004 join date? Also, if that were true you would know that ADVERTISING IS NOT ALLOWED!

I REALLY REALLY hate metal... but this is one of the few bands i can find good qualites in. The lead singer's voice is actully quite good when not screaming, the song structure fits perfectly and they've done some of the most inventive things with percussions ever. good band in my eyes

I like slipknot, but I didn't like their new album, it was too much like Corey's side project Stonesour for my liking

They better be good since theyre frikin 9 guys in the band. Thats a lot of creativity and ideas passed around. I can't say the Subliminal Verses was my fav album tho...

I use to hate slipknot's guts!!! but i like there new alubm there's less screaming and shouting in it and some solo's wich is cool. I'm glad the sacked ther' old producer! Joey rocks on drums some day i hope to be as good as him. Welcome is the best song on their new album.

I've gotta agree with MODERNyesterday i hate metal and this is one of the few metal bands i like...

I like Slipknot a lot. I have to say that their new CD is pretty good, maybe not the best... I'm not sure.

I've never seen them in concert, since they have never come to my neck of the woods, but I would love to. I'm sure they would put on one hell of a show and I bet they are great live. Ah, just thinking of what the crowd would be like is fantastic. Of course I like metal so I love being in moshes and crowd surfing and all that awesome stuff, even if I get banged around quite a bit since I'm a girl and am small compared to most of the guys that are moshing at metal concerts.

Heh... I can't really agree that they are metal. Their guitar riffs are simple, and don't tend to keep my attention. Their image, too, is kind of amusing (in a not-so-wonderful kind of way). The only other complaint I have are their lyrics. No intelligence seems to come out of their lyrics... and I quote:

Come on down and see the idiot right here
too Funnyked to beg and not afraid to care
Whats the matter with calamity anyways?
right? get the Funnyk out of my face"


huahuah... they can use the word Funnyk and think themselves to be badass. I can just imagine a slipknot concert with a bunch of kids/teens in spike collars and chains hanging from their pants like " !!!!!" heheheh...

Let's see, on the plus side... they have a good drummer...

Slayer's my favourite band, I've been waiting for them to finish their new album so they'd come back down here.

ohhhhhhh...would LOVE to. My best guy friend has been getting me to dig Slayer and now I'm obsessed. dates and places of tour????

Slipknot is a great band and I wanna go see em sooo bad! I have every Cd too...lol

Meh, I have "Mate Feed Kill Repeat" and "Slipknot" the "Iowa" and "The Subliminal Verses" can't hold a candle to the first too.
