Megadeth, The System Has Failed

I managed to get my hands on an advance copy of this album, and I have to say it's quite good.

Apparently Dave Mustane broke up the band in 2002 because of his injured arm. But now it's all better and they're releasing this album on September 13 2004

Yeah, I heard that he hurt his arm as well... but clearly, it is better. The album isn't my favorite, but I have to agree that it is quite good.

Do you know how he hurt his arm?

During the first week of January, 2002, while Megadeth was on hiatus, in Texas, I suffered an injury which caused severe nerve damage to my left arm and hand. It was diagnosed as Radial Neuropathy - specifically, a "compressed radial nerve."

...hmm sounds rough... good to hear that he recovered fine, though.

Hey Noodles, how'd you get your hands on an advance copy of The System Has Failed? I know a few of the tracks on it are pretty good, hows the album as a whole?

Heard the new stuff sounds good, Dave is back hints of rust in rust in peace in there, just glad to see Dave at work again.

*taps nose* It's a secret Nah, I have friends who are in the recording industry, they tend to get promos and advanced copies that come along.

The album is good as a whole, I would have to say better than their last attempt (I can't remember the name of their last studio album)

Cool.. you lucky guy you. Lol.. Well, if you say the albums better than the last one.. (which I don't actually have ) I shall buy it on the day it is released. Look forward to hearing it. I've downloaded a bit of it already and like the sound of what i've got, so The System Has Failed shall be the next cd added to my evergrowing collection
