Does anyone know of any bands/musicians that are similar to Keane, Jet, Maroon 5...etc? I'm just getting interested in this sort of music, with my friend sending me "Plug In Baby" by Muse (BRILLIANT song)

I have to admit, Muse are my favourite band in the whole world, with Foos as a close second. Can we post pictures here? If so, here's a little pic I did of Matt, which I got his dad to pass on to him.

mise rule like! any1 reckon "origin of symmetry" is way cooler than there new album??

theres a really cool band i found called "SeVan". saw them live a couple nights ago in newcastle n i thort they were class, there unsigned like but still very good! i guess i would have to put them in the same catagory as muse, radiohead etc but still very different from them.

they got a site wit a couple samples on www.v7web.com. i signed up n they gave me a free song too which was cool!

Muse is great. Jet is a total rip off of older music I put them in the trash along with modest mouse trying to be the rolling stones. Lenny Kravitz too. If you are young enuff to be into this retro rip off sound ( I dont mean this as an insult I just mean that you hadnt heard this sound before ) I would check out the band called franz ferdinand. Another good band that is ripping off the same sound we are talking about is the killers. They will seem brilliant to you. gr_grin.gif
If you want to listen to some 100% original music that isnt just recycling "oldies" as soon as a generation is new enough to have not heard it....
godmachine listen to these guys. My personal favourite.
godmachine at www.godmachine.us ( there is another band trying to use the same name but the other sucks ) is deep, dark, sometimes fast and violent music. They are like a pitbull shaking something to death in its jaws and then vomiting out of remorse. They arent singing songs about nothing. These other bands are out to make a buck off of you. It is working. Godmachine isnt.
