The reasoni think people make a big deal about her is b/c she's like one of the first latin artists to be really successful and everything. So that's a big part of like the latin community or wutever and so yeah i dunno. i had all this in my head but i dunno how to get it all out. it made sence in my head

but u get wut i mean? and its nice to remember someone one who was a great artist and everything like KUKA said. so yeah...

and well my family we were all big fans of her b4 she died and everything. we had planned to go to six flags that summer to go see her and everything u know cuz her and emilo came like everysummer to six flags and well we never did get to see her perform. but yeah we have like the cassettes from way back in the day and everything. lol. we don't buy all those new CDs that have come out since she died cuz i mean we already have all that. the only thing we bought after he death was the sound track to the movie and that's it. but we didn't go crazy about it or nothing. any who! may she rest in peace

I hate to disagree with someone whos so adamant about this but Im going to anyway. 1st of all, I hate on AB because Ive been there and seen how he treats his "employees" so I know what he is all about THATS why I dont like him. Ok as for the family- They are STILL living off Selena. What do you think it is when they keep coming out with all those hits, greatest hits, greatest videos, ect., ect. There are plenty of other things out there that HAVE KEPT Selenas memory alive. Its kind of hard for people to actually learn about Selena or how she achieved her dream, I mean its not like theres a movie they can go rent....oh wait, THERE IS !! Her family does NOT need to release a new cd with all the same exact songs, in different orders, every 6 months or so. Like I said, if there are people out there who want to learn about Selena or her life...GO RENT THE MOVIE! Thats what it was made for anyway...that and it was yet another way for the family to make more money off her death too.

I know selena would have got far if she was alive.People would've been like J.lo who?Selena was a very beautiful woman with a strong powerful voice.
I'm mad at the fact that people think since selena was beautiful,she was puerto rican.an when you tell them she was Mexican,their like "oh no,she couldn't have been"An i think that is real crappy,They think since she was beautiful she was puerto rican an not mexicana.Mexicanas es muy bonita.
