I gave up all kinds of sodas and all kinds of chocolate. its was hard the first year I did it and but know I usually do it every year. maybe next year I will give something harder. Have any of you guys seen the movie 40 day and 40 nights. I think that would be hard. (he gives up all kinds of sex things-sex, masturbation etc.)

how do you know when ash wednesday is? is it like a certain wednesday of the month?...

idk... most of the time i just realize its a certain day by looking @ the calendar, otherwise i dont kno whats going on.

LOL I don't know HOW you know it's ash wednesday, I kinda get startled when I see someone with an ashy forehead and that's how I know.

lol..its the wend like 40 days before the 3rd sunday of April.

this week is Semana Santa..u couldnt eat meat Wends, Thurs, and Fri. and sunday its Easter! then its Over. im guessing, friday was when they crucified him and he comes back on Sunday?

yes jenny you are right..well friday was the whole crucified thing..friday(last night good friday) well for me we don't eat meat..don't go out...don't take a shower don't drink..we don't do nothing..we just sit around the house...and today is sabado de gloria.. sunday he came back..so by sunday you can already do, drink, eat whatever it is that you gave up..i wait till i get out of church so i can drink my coke.. :-)
