Pau-latina, Paulina Rubio's New Album

OK I know you guys know that I'm a huge Pau fan! Well just wanted to let you guys know that her new album is coming out on Feb. 10 and it has gotten great reviews so far. I got the album kinda early hehehe and it is very good. Her hit single right now is Te Quise Tanto, great song. Here's an article I found on the net:

The talented Mexican beauty Paulina Rubio is releasing her highly anticipated Spanish album "Pau-Latina" in February 2004. Paulina collaborated with producers and composers Emilio Estefan, Chris Rodriguez, Sergio George, Marco Antonio Solis and many others. The album includes songs like "Te Quise Tanto," "Perros," "Alma en Libertad," and "Algo Tienes." Paulina was very involved in the creative aspect of the album and co-wrote "My Friend, Mi Amigo," "Dame Tu Amor," and "Baila Que Baila."

The title of Paulina¹s album "Pau-Latina" honors the nickname that her fans have given her as well as her Latin roots. The album offers a variety of rhythms that have inFunnyenced her life, rich sounds of Latin America, Reggaeton, Rancheras, Batucada, Mariachis, Dance, Hip Hop, Rock, Pop and Gypsy rhythms. One of Paulina's favorite tracks is named "Ojala," a song that singer/songwriter Marco Antonio Solis wrote. She describes "Ojala" as a new style of music because it includes Hip Hop and Ranchera rhythms.

The golden girl of Spanish Pop is presently in Los Angeles preparing for her promotional tour and editing the final touches of the music video for her first single "Te Quise Tanto." The single has already been heating up the airwaves in the U.S., Latin America and Spain. Paulina comments "My music is a mirror of my self. I'm a strong, passionate, positive woman. I know what I want and how to work hard to make my dreams a reality. I have always been a bit of a rebel and this record is very Paulina (very me). I put my heart and soul into it and am so excited to share my new music with all my amigos."

thalia was throwing her cd release party (i think paulina was going to throw hers today) and thalias party had a gay/lesbian theme and the crowd was all hyped up ... and all the attention is on thalia and then paulina shows up.. thats like beyonce having a party and then jlo shows up.. u kno theres folks that are gonna be like.. omg jlos here!!!.. so that takes away attention from the hostess's party. so yea.. paulina shows up and thalia finds out.. and they were saying on el gordo y la flaca that some ppl. saw paulina trying to get to the stage and sing... and then thalia came on live on el gordo y la flaca and she was like.. i'm just as lost as you guys are.. i dont know what she was doing there.. we're not even friends.. i mean we're not enemies.. but we're not friends. i didnt invite her.. that ever since timbiriche they just lost touch and that she rarely saw paulina and when she did it was just hi and bye like an acquaintance/co-worker type of deal. that she wished paulina the best, but that it was just weird that shed show up when it was thali's night.

I think that was FUNNY as hell cuz first Thalia says that she didn't invite her, yet when they interviwed Paulina, she says that Thalia did invite her Any how, the thing is that Paulina's new album came out Feb. 10 and this date was set a while back, well Thalia's album which is just her greatest hits was coming let out this month, but rumor has it when Thalia found out Paul was releasing her's Feb. 10, Thalia moved hers to Feb. 10 also, trying to "steal the spot light", so I guess Paul decided she wanted to play at the same game and look who ended up stealing whose spot light at their OWN cd release party??? haha that's crunk. Hey it's not Paul's fault that everyone pratically ran to her when she entered the room. And no she wasn't trying to sing on stage, I mean come on everyone has limits. If you go to Univison.com and go to Gorda y la Flaca they have an audio thing when they interviewed Thalia and she said all that stuff. Anyhow like they say "revenge is served better cold" lmao

I don't see what the big deal is, I think it was all a publicity stunt on both parts. But what is weird is that Paulina says that she was invited and that they're friends but Thalia is saying they're not friends OR enemies, just there and that she didn't invite Paulina. Haha, drama drama.

So...y did the crowd get all hyped up when Paulina showed up?? Weren't there other stars there?? I mean, shes aight and all...but come one...its just Paulina...im sure she invited (or didnt invite) someone BETTER than Paulina (no offense Jadith)??? And...ummm, about Paulina sayin she WAS invited...lol. She must feel silly sayin dat cuz it looks like she BEGGIN to be her friend...if THalia is sayin publicly that she DIDNT invite her...lol.

WEll...they're gonna show Paulina on El Gordo I think....or maybe they're just gonna say wat she said...i dunno..but watch it!

AAHAHHAHAHAHAH....she just said: "or maybe she's just mad that MY album is in the #1 spot on the Billboard charts." LOL LOL LOL She's all explainin how she doesnt need that publicity cuz her album is #1...she was just on the Grammys...blah blah...

scratch that.. i had heard that wrong (bout chayanne).. lol yeah she said that my mom was like.. es bien hipocrita y chocante.. lol i dont really take sides.. they both got their good songs and some of that annoy the heck out of me..

WEll...I dunno, based on the interview they showed with Thalia and the one right now with Paulina...BOTH of them sound ultra conceited and stuck-up. I dont like either one of them that much as it is...and this just made it clear why i dont like em. You can tell that they are both super jealous of each other and just wanna make it seem like they're better. But watever...

Oops ^^Yup! I have to agree with her. I dont like them either. They are kinda conceited. I dont like Thalia at all. I hated that song that she did with Los Kumbia Kings. I mean it was a good song but since she was moaning more than she was singing, it messed up the whole song! (no offense to those who do like Thalia.)[/QUOTE]

Um no don't think so. I was listening to the radio and they had a short interview with Emelio Estefan where he CONFIRMS that Thalia actually DID invite Paul to the "party" when shen found out that they were staying in the same hotel. So that's that. And if I were Paul and had did as much as she's done, I would have the right to be concieted too, but I'll tell you one thing, she is SUPER COOL to her fans. She's coming to Dallas tomorrow to sign autographs and take pictures at this local music store here and I'm sooo going to be there. She doesn't have to marry some old azz rich guy in the music market to get known in the American music industry. Anyhow, Thalis is probably just mad cuz she got her "spotlight taken away" lol Oh and have ya'll seen the pictures with Paul and Chris Judd, they sure have been seen a lot together lately, hmmmm....
