Whats up.

Pissed off. Yep. My forum crashed and now I'm hunting for a new one. The problem is that I can't find a decent forum to talk about "actual rock" in.

I thought that I would start a thread in this one that discusses "actual rock".

Here it is.

Tool

If you haven't heard of or never paid any attention to this band, you are wrong. cookoo.gif

If you have one cd and think that it is weird, listen to it again.

If you are like me, and love maynard and the guys, post here. Apc Rocks too, but tool is more stable.

you suck

Tool has to be my all time favourite band. The day I bought Lateralus, it didn't leave my stereo for about a month straight. I was really happy they did 2 tours here for Lateralus, and I got to see both.
As for the DVD - that hasn't even been released yet. The only DVD I know of is Salival, which is very rare these days. I managed to find a copy of it when some music stores found a bunch in Germany - but it's very likely the last of it worldwide.
I'm itching to hear the new album - they always seem to come up with something fresh and interesting that sounds like Tool, but never the same as each album. So I'm eagerly awaiting what they are going to throw at us next.

Thought this interview with Danny Carey might interest you Tool fans :

Heavier and more intense? Damn, I can't wait to hear it.

There's also a link at the bottom to a rather amusing (I thought it was) interview with Maynard.

Obviously to any real music fan Tool is unbelievable. Even people that are not into Tool still have to respect Maynard's abilities. To me, Maynard is god. Overall I believe Tool is the better band because of that stability factor, but APC is unreal. I recently saw APC in Hershey, PA about a month ago and there are no words to describe the experience so I will not even make an attempt.

C-Note Was wondering if you new of any other good rock forums to discuss bands like Tool, APC, Soulfly, Ill Nino. I have been "crusing" this forum and for me there is to much discussion about "MTV Bands".
