Yeah it is but it's still stealing. If you steal a movie that has blood gore and violence in it it's still stealing making it disrespectful too. I don't know if anyone gets what I'm trying to say. Hmmm.

yea i kno.. i get what ur saying cause in God's eyes sinning is sinning... like if i dwld. snow white its still as bad as if i were to steal the passion out of a store or something... its just that ... its easier to feel bad about stealing a movie bout Jesus i guess... thats why i just thought it was crz of him to b doin that bootleggin in school...

I know someone that is doing that to. That is disrespectful. I wouldn't even buy it from the bootlegger. Its just not right. I am gonna wait until it comes out to buy it.

i saw that movie and omg i was like "whoa". it was such an emotional movie. i was crying and im not a religious person. it was a good movie and i really did like it alot.

ok. now what the hell? how is buying a bootleg movie about Christ any different than buying any other bootleg movie? i dont see the difference. is it cuz its about Jesus? in my opinion, a bootlef movie is a bootleg movie no matter what the subject is.

yea i kno.. thats what i realized that stealing is stealing.. but for ME its easier to get a guilty consience (sp?) about something like that than a reg. movie.. anywho.. ...

i read something about that guy jim caviezel.. the one who played Jesus got struck by lightning when he was on the cross filming.. ill try to look up the article.. kinda freaky.

I have never felt this way about any other movie in my entire life. I will be honest, I became saved in Janurary. I read the bible every night and I try not to sin as much as I can. I know I do wrong every single day, but my life has changed dramatically. You can read about Jesus's crusifiction in the bible and not feel a single thing. You can understand what is going on and feel bad, but until you see this movie, you know nothing. The feeling that you get in this movie is the worst and most beautiful feeling in the world.

The worst would be "how could someone do this to such a wonderful and great person?" I know that back then that they didn't understand his powers because all they knew was evil. But this man cured the deaf, healed the blind, and brought the dead back to life. The man did no wrong, yet he still got punished for it. It hurts me to see someone do this to Jesus. It angers me that Judas did such a thing. I have never felt more rage in my life. Of course it was against the Jews. All I could think about was what they did and how they still don't accept him today because they believe that he was never resurected. angryfire.gif But, then I thought that Jesus was a Jew, so there is no way possible that I could stay that angry at one religon because he wouldn't want that. He loves everyone, including the sinners. He told one of the Roman soldiers as he was being beaten by him that "this blood is for you." I couldn't ever be that loving.

The beautiful part of the movie is that he did die for us. He died for everyone's sin. He knew that he was going to be killed, yet he knew what he was going to do. This man, Jesus, is beautiful. He is the most beautiful man ever. He is every emmotion in us. He brings them all out and I know that if I ever needed any help, all I had to do is pray and ask for his help and he would be there for me. We need people like him again. In the bible it says "If one is an honest Christian, thee shall move a mountain like a grain of salt."

This movie has just effected me in so many ways. I have to admit that we have it on DVD. My stepdad bought it to send to a friend over in Iraq, but we watched it first. They aren't able to watch it over there, and by the time he gets back, it should be out of theaters. However, I have heard that this movie might not ever be released on DVD because it is a Mel Gibson production and there isn't anyone backing him up for the release and production of a DVD/VHS.

I want it... but I don't think it would be a movie I would watch every day. It's depressing, and I think I would cry every time.

My mother doesn't want to get it though... because she didn't like it. She said she doesn't think they hurt Jesus that bad... it was just an overinactment (is that even a word?)
